【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththesignificanthazardsofmachinesforsurfacecleaningandpre-treatment-inthefollowingcalled"cleaningmachines"-ofindustrialitemsusingflammablecleaningliquidsoramixtureofcleaningliquids,eveninemulsionform,whichcanpotentiallycreate,eventemporarily,aconditionofflammability.ThisEuropeanStandardappliesincombinationwithEN12921-1.Bothpartstogethercoverallsignificanthazardsrelevantforcleaningmachinesofindustrialitemsusingliquidsorvapours,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).ThespecificrequirementsspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardtakeprecedenceovertherespectiverequirementsofEN12921-1.Totheextentofthisdocumentthetermscombustiblematerialsandflammablesubstanceandexplosiveareequivalentlyused.NOTE1Theconditionofflammabilitycanbegeneratedonlywhenmoleculesofthefluidareinintimatecontactwithoxygenfromtheair.Ignitionispossiblewhen:thefluidgeneratesaconcentrationofvapourinair,or:theflammablefluidispresentasasuspensionoffinedropletsinair(aerosol).NOTE2Inpractice,firesandexplosionsdifferbythesizeandintensityofthereaction,andbytheinstantaneouseffectsontheenvironment.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytomachineryandrelatedequipmentexcludedfromthescopeofEN12921-1.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletocleaningmachinesofindustrialitemsusingflammablecleaningliquidswhicharemanufacturedbeforethepublicationofthisEuropeanStandardbyCEN.
