【摘要】:Theobjectiveofthetestistodeterminewhatquantityofthefiberunderevaluationmustbemixedwith100gofcutbackasphalttogivethesamepenetrationasatargetpenetration.Thetargetpenetrationisdeterminedwiththesamecutbackasphaltasusedforthetestusingstandardcalibratedasbestosfiber.Thistestmethoddeterminestheefficiencywithwhichtheasbestostestedwillincreasetheconsistencywhenmixedwithaliquidasphalt.1.1Todeterminetheefficiencywithwhichasbestosfibersincreasetheconsistencywhenmixedintoaliquidasphalticvehicle,relativetofiberschosenasstandard.1.2ThistestmethodisapplicabletoQuebecStandardGroup7asbestosfibersasdeterminedbyTestMethodD3639.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Warning-Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardwarning,see.
