【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverslow-carbonmanganese-molybdenum-columbiumalloysteelplatesforpipingcomponentsandweldedpressurevessels.1.2Fourdifferentclassesarecovered,whichprovidevarioustensilestrengthproperties.ACharpyV-notchenergyabsorptionrequirementof20ftx00B7;lbf[27J]atx2212;50x00B0;F[x2212;45x00B0;C]isspecifiedforallgrades.1.2.1Classes1and2provideminimumyieldstrengthlevelsof65ksi[450MPa]and70ksi[485MPa]respectively.Bothclassescanbeprovidedintheas-rolledconditionorinthequenched-and-temperedcondition.1.2.2Class3providesaminimumyieldstrengthlevelof75ksi[515MPa].Thisgradecanbeprovidedintheas-rolledandprecipitationheat-treatedconditionorinthequenched-and-temperedcondition.1.2.3Class4providesayieldstrengthlevelof80ksi[550MPa]intheas-rolledandprecipitationheat-treatedcondition.1.3Currentpracticelimitsplatethicknessfurnishedunderthisspecification.Theindividualmanufacturershouldbeconsultedonsizeandthicknesslimitations.1.4Weldingproceduresareoffundamentalimportanceandmustbesuchasnottoadverselyaffectthepropertiesofthematerial,especiallyintheheat-affectedzone.Itispresupposedthatweldingprocedureswillbesuitableforthematerialsbeingwelded.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
